Connections: Collective 2025

Held at The Eastside Rooms, Birmingham – Thursday 2 October 2025

Our flagship annual event, Connections:Collective brings together voices from across the energy industry to explore the future of electricity connections through keynote sessions, expert panels, interactive discussions and opportunities to engage directly with our teams.

This year’s event was designed to encourage participation, share insights and feedback, and collaborate on solutions that shape the next chapter of connections.

 

Event Highlights

  • Keynote speakers from our President, Cordi O’Hara and Director of Connections, Amanda Le Brocq.
  • Expert panel on the future of connections featuring experts from National Grid Electricity Distribution, National Grid Electricity Transmission and the National Energy System Operator.
  • Learning more about customer perspectives through interactive discussions and table exercises
  • Dedicated Connections:Surgery appointments throughout the day allowing our attendees to book in with our knowledgeable team of engineers.
  • A mini NGED Expo showcasing the work and innovation of our teams

Information Hubs

During the afternoon, customers joined our Pathways to Progress Information Hubs, exploring key areas of Connections Development.

Each hub focused on a specific theme, with opportunities to speak directly to subject-matter experts, share views and learn more about ongoing developments. Themes discussed included, Connections Policy, Digitisation and Planning and Wayleaves.
