Working in partnership with our communities is key to being at the heart of a clean, fair and affordable energy future and this is why our vision is to enable the Community Energy Sector. We understand that developing a community energy project can be extremely rewarding, but it can also have its challenges so, we want to work with our communities and community energy groups to help provide support, which will assist in driving forward the projects and innovation that will be key to unlocking Net Zero across our regions.

We have dedicated Community Energy events which are open to all and offer guidance, information and resources on our processes and facilitates collaboration across all community energy groups, community bodies and local authorities to provide a support network in developing and progressing Net Zero opportunities.

We are pleased to invite Community Energy groups to our Regional Connections: Communities Events.

These events provide valuable opportunities to engage and knowledge share with us, National Grid Electricity Distribution and our partner Regen, allowing you to update and inform others about your activities and learn how we can support you. There will also be the opportunity for peer-to-peer learning between Community Energy groups, as well as hearing firsthand about any updates on policy and regulatory changes from our series of experts.

We open our events to all customers interested in Community Energy, regardless of experience and wanting to be involved in the energy transition.
