It’s easy to find out if we work in your area, all we need is your site postcode.
By creating new connections to our power network, or modifying existing connections, we can provide access to the power you need.

Once we have your application, we will send you a connections offer. This will be valid for 90 days and work will usually be carried out within this time frame. You can view our guidance for post-acceptance here.
The steps associated with connecting up to 4 dometic properties or a small commercial (up to 69kVA) are set out below.
Before you begin, check the list below for the information that you’ll need to submit this form. Your application will take around 15 minutes to complete.
Once we’ve received your application, we’ll send you a connection offer and some helpful information.
If you decide to accept our offer, arrange payment and we’ll be in touch to schedule your job.
You’ll need to choose an electricity supplier before we can begin work. We’ll provide you with the information you need for your supplier.
We’ll look after any paperwork for you, including any third party consents. Then we can get started on your connection.
Your connections offer will take into account the cost of the connection you have requested. This will include:
needed from our existing network to your meter position
you can carry out the digging work on your own land if you wish, but we will excavate on any public highways. Take a look at our information on how to dig safely.
this includes local authority fees associated with digging on public highways
we can supply your meter cabinet, but your builder will have to install it before works can begin
You should prepare to budget for:
your Electricity Supplier will charge you for installing a new meter
internal wiring must be carried out by a qualified electrician
if you have chosen to carry this out yourself
you will need to arrange for a builder to install your meter cabinet
