Understand growth, queues and location options

Use DFES Forecasting to understand future demand, generation and storage growth, and ClearView to review connection queues and project activity. Then use the Network Opportunity Map and Embedded Capacity Register to check headroom, existing projects and potential network saturation.

Assess flexibility, curtailment and site constraints

Use the Network Flexibility Map and Curtailment Analysis to identify flexibility opportunities and understand potential ANM or curtailment impacts. Use the Live Data Feed Application Map and Network Plans & Information to check real network behaviour, asset records, GIS maps and site constraints.

Access deeper data for modelling

Use the Connected Data Portal and DSO Data Centre for open datasets, flexibility data, network assets and innovation data to support more detailed analysis.

For up to 4 homes or one small commercial property up to 69kVA.

For small-scale generation or storage installations under G98. Notify us within 28 days of commissioning.
